OUR PROMISE
Every day, campers will play outside (Rain or shine), collaborate with others, learn something new, listen to themselves and others, ask a lot of questions and be celebrated.
OUR GOAL
Kids walk away from a week at a Wonderstruck camp feeling more confident in who they are and what they are capable of.
MUSIC WEEK
We focus on various elements that make music so great, like rhythm, harmony, collaboration, song-writing and creativity. We have many instruments available to be played or learned (Drums, piano, guitar, ukulele, keyboard, and other various percussion instruments), or you can bring your own and show it off! Any skill level can appreciate and learn from music…all it takes is an enthusiastic attitude.
Camps conclude with a performance to celebrate our creativity and talent.
THEATER Week
We explore themes around performance, writing, improv comedy, connecting with words, learning to listen and recognizing and celebrating someone else’s talent. There is a place for anyone in the theater community, whether that be a draw to directing, set design, writing or performing, each week provides a new cast of talent to work with and create something we are proud of!
Camps conclude with a performance to showcase our creativity and hard work!
SPORTS Week
Sports are games, and games are supposed to be fun. We put creative twists on commonly played games to uncover the most possible fun. For example… its basketball, but the hoop is attached to one of the players? Sure! Let’s try it! When kids get the opportunity to use their imagination, activities like sports can be even MORE fun and memorable…plus, we get to run around and be silly all day.
